ADAM Frost is one of the green-fingered hosts of Gardeners’ World on BBC Two – and is an award-winning landscape designer as well.
But what do we know about Adam Frost, how did he get into gardening and what shows has he presented?
Who is Adam Frost?
Adam is a landscape designer who enjoys travelling the world designing gardens and speaking on a wide variety of horticultural topics.
He began his career by working with Geoff Hamilton at Geoff’s garden Barnsdale.
Adam became an RHS Ambassador in 2014 and has won seven gold medals at The Chelsea Flower Show.
He is married to Sulina and the couple have four children together.
How did Adam Frost get into gardening?
Adam moved from London to Devon with his parents when he was 15.
There he worked as an apprentice gardener in the North Devon parks department.
Later he trained as a landscaper after moving back to London and landed a job at Geoff Hamilton’s Barnsdale Gardens in Rutland.
Speaking to the Radio Times, he said: “Geoff’s the one who turned the light on for me. I get goosebumps just thinking about it.”

Adam Frost is currently presenting Gardeners’ World, on BBC Two along with Monty Don.
He also appears on BBC coverage of RHS Flower Shows and has also featured on The One Show, The Alan Titchmarsh Show and DIY SOS.
In 2019 he presented Chelsea Flower Show 2019: The Road to Chelsea with Sandi Toksvig.
